Why would Steve want to come back to that clusterf**k in LA. He looks like
he would rather get paid doing his back therapy at the golf driving range...

Nash just wrote another open letter:

"You have no idea how much I want to talk with people in the organization. Yes, I can see how me posting on Twitter and Facebook and talking to friends can appear strange, but it's not the same as talking basketball to a coach. That grind has taken it's toll, despite how bad my heart wants to return the calls."
    What grind

He is saving himself for his next contract.

Lakers' Steve Nash, Byron Scott still haven't talked; Scott OK with it

Steve Nash and Lakers Coach Byron Scott still haven't spoken since Nash was declared done for the season, continuing a long game of phone tag.

Nash hasn't been around the Lakers since they shut him down Oct. 23 because of recurring back pain.

    ...

"Steve's a busy guy and I'm a busy guy as well," Scott said. "We're missing each other. I don't think he misses sleep over it and I don't miss any sleep over it, you know? He's a great guy. I've known Steve for a long time, so for us to not be able to get in contact with one another at this particular time, to me it's not a big deal."

"Playing phone tag.." If either one of these guys wanted to speak to one another it would've happened on day 1. Nobody's buying this "he's a busy guy schtick."

I still think Nash is a genius tbh. Collecting a $9 Million paycheck without lifting a finger, knowing this season was a lost cause and that his career stats only would have diminished by prolonging his career. Doesn't even have to travel with the team or show up to practices/games. Guy's living the dream tbh.

He'll show up here after the season & tell the tale. And it's gonna be a doozy. Doing so will enable him to ingratiate himself back here in the community via giving the story to the local Media & they will eat it up & do it right. Then he'll make the local talk show circuit and then the payoff:::inclusion in the Ring of Honor thing.

We're just damn fortunate Kupchak put stipulations on those picks. I'd a just sent them unen bered.

P.S., and there will be a set up during the local interviews where they'll (((seriuous))) ask him if he's interested in signing with the Suns. And he'll (((seriously))) reflect, consider, beat his spleen, wring his hands, on & on before stating "no." Then a solemn silence as they break to sell A/C services & boner medications.

He's become one of the biggest assholes in the league. I guess when his career started going down the toilet he decided to flush his reputation along with it.

If I had a guaranteed contract with an employer like that when I'm basically retired (no fear of repercussions like not getting another job), I would be tempted to go AWOL too.

Listen to this guy, making excuses. Where's that picture of the busted horse now? Can you even imagine what he would be saying / doing if Nashy were doing this same shtick on the Spurs, or Suns? Oh me, oh my!

Nash checked out mentally after the 2012 season tbh. 2011 was his last good season despite him being hurt.

Moving to Los Angeles can do that to a person.
