But Oberto is by far a more complete player than Scola, he has better hands, both to catch passes and to assist, he plays defence in a way Scola can only dream, and he has a better low-post moves than Scola who is a scorer with more shooting range.

Manu himself said that Oberto's defence was one of the keys to win the gold. I know that Scola's enforcer role was very important too, but Oberto brings more than points to the table.
