Parker - 27pts, 8ast, 1stl, 10-17fg
Leonard - 19pts, 4rebs, 3stl, 4blk, 6-13fg
give them time to gel, like I've been saying
Even if Pop tried so hard to put him into Spurs system-wing-3-shooting in his first two seasons, Kawhi isn't a spot up 3pt shooter.
How many times you see Kawhi run the p&r to say that? The team need to explore that option.Leonard hasn't shown that he can run the p&r consistently create for others.
Anyway, Kawhi has improved a lot his playmaker skills this season, his passing and court vision seem so good.
Agree, his mid J was already beginning to look dangerous last season. He can knock down open mid range jumpers off the dribble
But I think his blurry vision doesn't allow him to get rhythm in shooting, he'll alternate good shooting nights with bad nights this season.
I don't have any expectations about his 3's this season. Kawhi said he's still not 100% and his vision issues won't heal until summer. He's averaging 14 ppg and can't hit the side of a barn from 3. If he was knocking them down at his career average (he'd need to go 14-37 for .378 instead of 10-37 for 28%) he'd be averaging approx. 15.1 ppg.
That's why I mentioned the pick and roll as a good way to involve him offensively and not exacerbate his poor-shooting-vision-issues.

Meh..
Parker never run a post up play for Kawhi..He prefers BOBO and the ball out of Kawhi's hands..It's all on Kawhi.
