The better remark would be to say that the Spurs would have already repeated without Splitter being the LVP of the 2013 Finals...
Duncan was strong offensively in game 1 against Dallas, but that series was all Manu and Splitter...

thinking Baynes can hold a candle to Splitter in the playoffs
ya small fries are in for some rude awakenings (save a miraculous Splitter recovery :pray)
Had the Spurs won in 2013 they might've actually lost to the Thunder in the WCF last year. Having 6 as motivation really helped them pull it out.
all the that went down at the end of game 6 and you pin the finals loss on splitter?![]()
Lowest plus minus on either team, guy was the biggest scrub of that entire series... He got blocked by everyone and was front and center in Lebron's comeback at the beginning of the 4th...
this discussion reminds me of certain posters that thought Steven Adams could replace Abaka on OKC last playoffs... don't remember exactly who they were, but one of the most horrible takes of last season, tbh...
Is he the next Bill Lambier yet?
We need everybody
^ this, tbh
we are deep enough, but it would be a tough battle.
i'm guessing the triple threat of cry havoc, benefactor and hater could be a good guess.. i bet at least 1/3 is correct![]()
Not surprised to see that Baam entered this thread and immediately dropped a huge in his diaper.
Andbeing afraid of OKC. I've always said the Spurs could take them regardless of who is playing.
Why in the world is this still even in argument?
so proud of my boy TIAGO, last year i was defending his contract alone
We have no chance without Splitter.
Spurs should be afraid of OKC IMO. They are beatable, but one of the toughest matchups for SA.
