fish and chips? Living in Australia all I had were meat pies and fish and chips. So much more variety in the US tbh.
The years I spent in England, I ate more things than just shepherd's pie![]()

This can't be .... can it?
At first I liked Shepherd's Pie but after sometime I got sick of it as well...
Did you eat British s as well?
The Brits (and the Aussies) are hardcore, stone cold drinkers. Their genetic makeup was engineered to beat everyone in drinking booze.
I don't even try to pretend that this isn't the Gospel truth. Worst hammering I got here was when one of my Aussie co-workers came in for a conference. It was the perfect storm and I take no shame in admitting that I couldn't keep up with him or any of the Brits.
Pub food is decent, but romanticized. While there are a few local places that I frequent, as a whole British food is crap. Even the Brits admit it. They are just culturally conditioned to have a stiff upper lip and persevere instead of demanding something better.
i dont understand how white ppl can live eating that every day repe ively...its like they cant cook anything else
seriously brits/aus dont have any traditional food, fish and chips + pies thats bull too me..
even steak+carrots+peas+potato everyday...htf do you stomach that down, no variety
I can say the same about American food after my visit there![]()
