Fair enough.
I just wanted to make sure I was right in thinking it was a bit excessive. I agree.

Since it's only been a month and a half, use this as a test. I'm assuming you'd rather be with a guy who likes going to an event/experience vs. someone who would be upset that he didn't get a boxed set of DVDs. So get him the tickets (and maybe a couple of beers at the game), and see how he reacts. If he's worth your time, he will appreciate that you put some thought into the gift and went outside the box.
If he's upset that you didn't get him the Star Wars boxed set, which is something he can just as easily buy for himself, then you can decide if that's the kind of person you want to be in a longer term relationship with.
Fair enough.

Yeah, it seems too early...unless he brings the wood then I can see where gift giving would be in the cards. However, it sets a precedent that you may not want to live up to. Taking him to a Spurs game is therapeutic in nature so he'll technically be getting to see a game and cure his night insomnia in the same shot. Unless, that is, you're going to include reverse cowboy and a gooch grab as his Christmas presents.
Sir, I wanna buy these shoes for my momma please
It's Christmas eve and these shoes are just her size
Could you hurry sir?
Daddy says there's not much time
You see she's been sick for quite a while
And I know these shoes will make her smile
And I want her to look beautiful if momma meets Jesus tonight
det song det feels
If you can't afford it just lick his ass
Eh. Whenever you or any of the other baby Neanderthals around here disagree with me it's a pretty clear indication of how correct I am![]()
