true, so we'd need to seek another trade or involve a 3rd team in the deal. we have a band of guards right now who're decent enough to be 6-7th guys on most NBA teams but whose minutes would be further severely compressed after Rondo's arrival. We'll need to trade them away anyway, and it shouldn't be too hard to find a few potential buyers for Harris and Nelson (Felton is flat out trash though).

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Rondo starting, with Ellis coming off the bench plus a decent big to back up Tyson would improve the Mavs. But those are really big if's right now.

Aminu is an awful player but will come in handy in the playoffs when parsons starts being useless again... wright is a great back up center.

I'd give up aminu, but Dallas needs a serviceable center in return.

Rondo improves Dallas' perimeter D but he can't play with Ellis. Giving up Harris and Wright for him is also dumb. As a Spurs fan I hope they give up Harris; he kills the Spurs in the playoffs like Mo Williams does in the regular season.
