    dude was 4th on the MVP ladder as recent as last week ...

    still 5th

    not saying I agree but the hype was and is real ...that is the NBA official website

    It's really tough in the West this year though.

    Just look at the players who got snubbed:
    - Cousins
    - Lillard
    - Dirk
    - Ellis
    - Kawhi
    - Dwight
    - Jordan
    - Conley

    I would probably have this West team:
    Starting five - Curry, Harden, Gasol, Blake, Davis
    Bench - Lillard, Conley, CP3, Westbrook, Cousins, Duncan, Aldridge. Only reason Durant didn't get in is because of injuries, he would have been there if he played a few more games, I would have dropped Duncan for him otherwise.

    For the East:
    Starting five - Wall, Teague, Horford, MVPau, Lebron
    Bench - Korver, Millsap, Lowry, Butler, Bosh, Knight, and Vucevic.
