Marks when give then chance last year didn't show a of alot.
Good news, he is a useful guy for practise and a player that is willing to be a whole season in the IL, working hard, waiting to take his chance when someone is down with an injury.
And he is Manu's friend and both share the taste for bad haircuts!

I'm thinking Marks adds nothing to the Spurs le hopes this season. A good practice player maybe?
Maybe a CIAPop plant in the western half of the Pacific Rim? He will probably be part of the Spurs organization after his NBA days expire.
Whatever the case, there is definitely some loyalty flowing here.
Marks must be a known positive influence in the locker room. In addition, if one or more of the Spurs' bigs get hurt, he has the potential of filling in better than your average IR bench fodder could because he knows all the plays and has experience playing with the players.
He's a known commodity and he's familiar with the Spurs. He's an excellent guy to have around just in cast. And it's obvious that he knows what his role is going to be. He had a choice and decided to come back to play a very small role.
He's a great guy to have around.
Perhaps, but (what I call) his pretzel dunks are indelibly stamped upon my mind.
