Double lol
AMD is real salty. Owning 10% of the market share will do that to a company.
Microstutter, coil whine, ty driver support, @ 95 c means microstutter, coil whine, ty driver support, @ 95 c
Stutter is the whole reason people are pissed at Nvidia right now. As soon as the 970 hits the gimp par ion of its VRAM it turns into a stuttering mother er. Coil whine? Have you not paid attention to GPUs this last year? The 970 is far and away the GPU that draws the most coil whine complaints. ty driver support kind of defines Nvidia right now with the way they're tanking Kepler performance with Maxwell out. And 94C is pretty horrible with the reference 290 and 290x blowers, but the aftermarket 290s and 290x's run in the 70s at full load.
Where did you get the 10% figure from? AMD has roughly 40% of the GPU market.

One ty budget priced GPU from Nvidia isn't going to change a reputation for AMD.
AMD = Finished
How do you figure? They have the best GPU at every price point above $100 (GTX 750Ti is probably best at $100) and below $550.
If they're the best, how come everyone buys Nvidia?![]()
Why does everyone buy Playstation 4? You gonna tell me PS4 > PC?
Apples to oranges.
Not sure where you're getting yours stats from, but the benchmarks here show the 970 and 980 outperforming the AMD offerings, in some cases by 10 FPS.
Here's some more Nvidia domination for you..

I said Nvidia has the best GPU at and above $550, which would be the 980. The 970 and 290x trade blows with each other now and are pretty evenly matched, but the 290x doesn't have a crippled section of VRAM. The 290x was a piece of under the reference cooler that caused tons of throttling at 94C, but aftermarket coolers get the temps into the 70s for the good ones and the 80s for the worst so that they don't throttle anymore.
More Nvidia GPU's at the top:

Now go your AMD using mother some more
Wow really, the GTX 970 got 1FPS higher than the throttling 94C reference 290x at 2500x1600 on an Nvidia GameWorks game?
There's no trading blows as far as performance. Every once in a blue moon some dumb ass developer will decide to allign With AMD, and their game runs 5 frames better than the Nvidia card..but that's too rare to even matter IMO.
The only thing AMD wins is price to performance, but I'm not a penny pinching jew bas when it comes to my GPU. It's the main component to a gaming PC.
Yeah, it's nothing. But it eliminates this crazy claim that "AMD cards are better at every price point" that you've been preaching ITT
1FPS in an Nvidia game vs the absolute worst 290x establishes that? Especially when the 290x doesn't have the memory flaw the 970 does?
Now that we've settled the FPS argument, let's get to to user feedback..
AMD users complain about the same things consistently, with each generation of cards:
1. Microstutter - don't bring up the 970, that's an issue seen on one card, and supposedly can be corrected by update according to Gigabyte. Super annoying to be at 60 FPS locked, but not feel like it because of the microstutter.
2. Ridiculously high temps - One, the noise of those fans is annoying without headphones, and wearing headphones for extended periods of time is uncomfortable. My 680 running at 65 c pumps out a considerable amount of hot air, and after an hour or so you can feel the difference in room temperature.
3. Coil whine
4. Bad driver support - not enough updates for new release games
5. ty innovation - Mantle? Oh cool, my APU based piece of cap runs BF4 better. TressFX? Oh cool, let me have flowing Lara Croft hair in exchange for 30 FPS.
Nvidia is constantly improving and adding new features. Dynamic super resolution, G-sync monitors, Shadowplay all come to mind
Does TressFX really knock 30FPS off for you, or are you exaggerating? Has Nvidia truly abandoned Kepler when it comes to driver support? I hear a lot of 780Ti and 780 owners complaining about driver support now. TressFX isn't anywhere close to that kind of performance hit on Maxwell. I think it cost about 10FPS@1080p on my 970 when I turned VSync off. I agree that TressFX is kind of dumb, but I play with VSync to 60FPS on so I turn it on for Tomb Raider.
