All I'm saying is, is that I'm not giving up. I'm not saying that if we don't win it it'll be a disgrace or anything like that, but if you're going to give yourself a chance to win it, you've got to keep fighting. You're not going to win if you give up. You have to give it everything you've got just to have a chance to win it. It doesn't guarantee you'll win it, but at least you can walk away knowing you did all that you could. If we don't win it again then that's that, but giving up well before the playoffs start (like some people here are doing) is a pussy move.
If the ship goes down, I'm going to be on it and go down with it. Lots of people here are jumping ship right now.
People that want to get off the ship right now - off and don't come back.
well part of it is most of us are still enjoying 5. plus the team has been on 3 long postseasons. Parker looks like Father Time bent him over Deliverance style.
Still the depth and overall record is still pretty damn impressive considering the injuries. The team may still be able to repeat, just need some good health and luck. We'll know more in a month or so.
It's not over until The Rains of Castamere starts playing, tbh...
This team is worse than the 2011 team
Spurs fo standing pat shows the confidence they have tbh.
the injuries excuse really needs to stop, Most teams in the NBA are dealing with injuries. Just need to start manning up.
dc;fc
tbh.
Well, if OP needs a good reason...Amuseddaysleeper can't go to the rest of games this season...![]()

Loser mentality.
Beat Kobe. Tie Jordan's bulls. Repeat. Cement legacy.
This season means nothing, old sports got revenge on everyone last year.
Beat Kobe. Tie Jordan's bulls. Repeat. Cement legacy.
Spurs need some of that "Never underestimate the heart of a champion" vibe.
Another reason, they are not concerned.
That couldn't be more wrong.
2 games with their regular line up. 2.
But it's an excuse right?
You can't seriously believe this.
I've heard a lot of bad, reactionary takes this season, but come on.
These guys are playing like they are checked out already. There's some residual fight, but mostly they are mailing it in. We'll have a better idea after the RRT, but right now they appear to be fat, dumb and happy.
At this point, it's common knowledge that the Spurs need to get their act together if they want to make it to the finals.. There are so many other teams that look hungrier than the them this season. The Spurs don't have the look of a back to back champion. -Just sayin
We're still a top 4 defence, the offence just needs to step up. That should improve after more games with the full rotation.
This team was an all time great offence in the playoffs last year, if we can get back to even 80% of that we have a chance because our defence is still elite.
Good defense doesn't mean if you're still not winning the games and competing like a championship caliber team
