I just think whining takes away from your focus. He deserves more calls, but the time he spends whining, he could be following his shot for a rebound or getting back on D.

Completely ridiculous. He probably gets his own rebound more then anyone outside of Duncan. He doesn't ever complain if he has a shot at the ball or needs to get back on D. I hope he continues to complain more he never gets any love from the refs. Half of being a star player in this league is constantly getting the benefit of the doubt from the refs. If anything I see this as growth.
Kawhi complains to the refs the least amount out of the top 5 players and yet here we are with a kawhi bashing thread that has no bearing whatsoever.

It might be learned behavior. TD is the GOATPF but he's a hall of fame whiner about calls.
Pop would get mad if Kawhi argued with officials before now he doesn't care as much

This. Dude doesn't have the respect of the officials it seems. Other swing men (the Hardens and Kobes etc) get the calls that he doesn't.
I don't mind him complaining but if it is getting to the point where it is effecting his focus and effort then it is a problem. It did tonight vs the Pistons despite the refs not making calls either way particularly through 3 quarters. If the oppnent is in transition then laying on the floor with a mopy look on oyur face is not the answer.
2 blocks, 4 steals. If that is Kawhi letting it impact his focus and effort then I wonder what he would have done without that "problem".
Kawhi rarely gets the calls that he should but he'll get more respect from the refs after the trade.
He needs to stop
