with all due respect Kawhii has been very fundamental but the return of MVPARKER is pretty cool too.

when people say Kawhi can't be the main guy, they are not denying his stats and ability. He's fine. Honestly, if you asked me who the spurs would miss more...I'd say Leonard over Parker. Shame that they've both been injured this year.

FWIW we saw the parker led spurs from 2010 to 2012 and it was good, but beatable. We needed Splitter and KAwhi for defense and we luckily got them! The kawhi led team is not here yet. Most smart people think he'll need help. I agree.

The Spurs have defeated 3 really bad teams and 2 really mediocre teams in the past 5 games, tbh..

    Sacramento: 27th ranked defense
    Phoenix: 21st ranked defense
    Sacramento: 27th ranked defense
    Denver: 26th ranked defense
Chicago: 13th ranked defense missing 2 of their 3 best defensive players(Butler and Gibson)

    The next 3 games:

    Toronto: 23rd ranked defense
    Cleveland: 19th ranked defense
    Minnesota: 30th ranked defense

This homestand is nice for the standings, the Spurs need to move up, but that's really all it is, unfortunately..Cleveland is the only litmus test on this homestand, and there are no defensive challenges to gauge anything during this stretch..

Spurs have played 4 ty teams in a row, 4 game win streak, no coincidence folks
But these teams they were actually struggling against early in the season. Now they are blowing them out like they should be. I think that is what most people are noting. That is a good sign for this team any way you look at it.
