not really. raiders held their ground against Knighton and he's still unemployed. the only player who's turned down the raiders for less money is cobb iirc
Raider fans dissing anyone else's free agency
Raiders literally begging anyone with a pulse to take their money and still being rejected
NFL version of the Fredo/Jeannie Lakers

cobb was never a fa though
he was signed during the "legal tampering" period, and he turned down an additional 1.5 mil per year to re-up with the pack
Such bad signings by the Dolphins, tbh..
While Suh is an elite player, blowing a massive part of your cap on 1 player is always a bad idea, tbh..
They're already paying a ton of money for a one-trick WR, and they're going to give a Tannehill, an average QB, at best, a massive payday next year, too..
they're pushing all-in, which i dont think they're good enough to do. signed Suh, Jordan Cameron (who is a concussion away from becoming a vegatable), still want to sign Charles Clay back, and just traded a 3rd for Stills...
and yeah, they have to pay Tannehill and Pouncey next year, and next year Suh's cap hit is at something like 26 mil.
i do like Tannehill though, he's gotten better every year, and a slow start was expected considering the gimmicky offense he was running in college. He has great physical tools and is clearly putting the work in and learning to be a good QB. i think with Wallace, Stills, Jarvis Landry at WR and potentially Cameron/Clay at TE, he's due for a big statistical leap.

Tannehill can't throw deep, though, he's arguably the worst deep-ball passer in the NFL..their #1 WR and highest-paid player(until Suh) is a ing one-trick pony that only goes deep..
That's fine if you're old Manning or Brady with their football IQ and systems, but not for Ryan Tannehill..
just read they have wallace on the trading block. at this point they'd probably have to surrender draft value to get rid of his contract. tbh the raiders are a team that has more cap space than they could realistically use on free agents. also desperate for WR help
New coordinator went a long way for Tannehill this season. But they can't help but feel the pressure of keeping up with everyone else making moves and getting better around them. Everyone got better, and N.E arguably has gotten worse, but, they've won the division for the umpteenth time in a row, and just won a S.B, so they are still the class of the division (And conference for that matter). But if you look at the Bills, and the Jets, they have gotten better. And even though they were ninth in run defense last year, you can never be good enough there. Not to mention what he'll do for that pass rush which was ranked 27th last year. But there's no doubt he is going to restrict improvement in other areas.
