Heats suck, I got one word for all the Heat fans: KNICKS![]()
True, so until the Pacers win something go away, the thing is the Pacers didn't even come in second place last year, they came in third at best.
Funny? Half your squad? The Pacers had Miller, Tinsley, O'Neal, Jackson, D. Davis, Foster, Johnson, F. Jones, J. Jones, Gill, Pollard, and Croshere playing against the Pistons. I only see you missing Ron Artest, David Harrison, and John Edwards. Harrison and Edwards were left off the playoff roster. So that leaves only one player, if Artest is "half of our squad" then the Pacers are in trouble.![]()
Wouldnt it be funny if the Heats were the no 1 seed and NY was the 8 and NY knocked them out the playoffs again![]()
We both saw what happened when we had out full team...you and I both know Detroit cannot beat The team that started last season, that double digit blow out in Detroit said it all.
BTW, good luck this yr, you'll need it![]()
I like how all Pacers fans base the entire season on the 9th game. Utah was 6-3 and in first place as well, are you saying that if Andrei Kirilenko had not gotten injured they would of won the Northwest? Remember the Pistons ended the season a league best 38-15 after Jan 1st even though they had a 4 game losing streak where they lost 3 of those 4 games all on the road by 3 points or less, another 3 game losing streak when Rip was out, and the Pistons rested all their starters the last game of the season and lost to the Bobcats. We both saw what happened when Detroit had a team that only went 7 deep last season, Detroit making it to the finals again said it all.![]()
Luck?, I think the Pacers need more of it then the Pistons, the Pistons have been to the ECF's 4 years in a row and the finals twice. They speak through actions not words like the Pacers team and fanbase.
I can run off those numbers in 1998 1999 2000 , where was the Pistons then? ing cellar dwellers. Go head pop your , I ain got nothing more to say till June son.
Wow it didn't long for you to give up and revert to immature name calling. Want to talk about the past? One question how many trips to the NBA finals and how many championships have the Pacers ever won?
Where did I call you names? You really want me to huh? Or do you want me to break down what the term cellar dwellers mean?
One trip to the NBA finals and no NBA championships.![]()
You aren't serious are you?
Blowouts mean a lot, look at last year's Finals for proof...
Let me show you how dumb you really are when you actually think you're smart. You say Pistons has been to the ECF 4 yrs in a row and the NBA Finals twice. So I say I can run off numbers, you say I want to bring up the past, when you were the one who actually did. I bring up facts like Pacers were among the elite in 1998 1999 2000 when Detroit were cellar dwellers you say I'm reverting to name calling because you realise I'm right and you have no reply....
Then when you finally get a grip on what Cellar dwellers mean you change the topic AGAIN and say Detroits only argument against Indy fans.....3 rings to none.
Sad....
I'll take cellar dwellars for a few years and then winning ANOTHER championship. Sure beats being compe ive every year and winning NOTHING.
Word to the wise, avoid arguments with Detroit fans, they rant in circles.
well i dont see no need argying who should fall in position 2-30 the most important thing is that we would beat any of the teams below us in the playoffs and the finals,,, hope that the next 29 teams have a lot of fun whilre the compete for second best in the league. ts just a pity that the team would come from the east.
Dont get too far ahead of your self son
That was cold... I think you are confusing us with Kentucky
Donnie Walsh claimed that he will give Reggie a ring if we win in 2006...
Wouldn't that be like salting a wound?

We have upgraded our spots far beyond what your team did... you will be our toughest compe ion outside of San Antonio... but San Antonio is the only serious threat.
Us Pacer fans argue whether Reggie would take it or not. He is a man full of pride... but I believe Reggie would deserve one... we would not be the team we are today without him.
What if they won it in 2007 instead? It's re ed and rings hollow...
If the Pacers were so "great" before the brawl how did they lose at home by 34 to the Clippers in game 5th game of the season? So are you saying the Clippers were twice the team the Pistons or Pacers were? Again your arguments are weak and full of holes. You also have to remember that it was a 5 point game (79-84) half way through the fourth quarter.
2006 is the only chance... you all would have given one to Robinson if he had retired a year earlier... wouldn't you have? Oh... wait... consider David did not already win one in the '90s... would you have given him a ring in '03 if he had retired earlier that year without one?
Wow... I don't remember that... but everyone has a bad game now and again... that could have been the case with your Pistons in the seventh game too. But... you will still be falling this year... you have downgraded the most where it will hurt you the most... coaching.
Flip was the worst coach in the NBA last year... he did the worst considering the talent he had... You guys will still be tough this year... but your time at the very top is over.
