It's too late this year.
But I am glad we got him. He has great Bball intuition imo.
The story on kyle hasnt changed. He's got unique ball handling skills, suspect shooting, slow foot defense, wizard court vision. He'll get his chances. Unlike Cojo, deColo and other spurs Dleague scrubs, Kyle has shown the skills i listed above already in college. He's a project, but a project with a starting skillset that no other player out of college will bring.
The closest analogue would be Austin Daye coming out of draft, a guy with size and skill who just never adapted to the game. But kyle is young, Daye wasn't by the time the spurs had him. Daye was first round talent at kyle's age. Lets hope kyle is better than daye. But even if he isn't he'll get as much of chance as Daye did.

I was never a fan of the pick, but I would like to see him playing now with manu out. I'm not one of those people who think he can be a future 'manu replacement', and I hate his unfixable slowness.
But in regular season games I think he'll function fine. Bad defense because of his glacial movements, but at least it won't be because of mental breakdowns or uncaring like I think belineli is on defense. He'll move the ball, rebound a little, score a little ... Decent enough as fourth wing.
kyle having no vert is fitting
Give the guy a break. He hasn't even grown his first NBA pube.
He has a ways to go, before seeing any valuable time.
