Robdiaz2191 is right. Racism and white privilege is somewhat real. I've been around the highschool/college San Antonio/San Marcos party scene back in the day, and middle to upper class white kids get way better treatment from the cops than blacks and Mexicans. For example, let's say 3 20 year old black or Hispanic kids are party hopping(after a football game,etc) and they're drinking and have bud on them. Cops stops them. What do you think is going to happen?? Pretty sure 90% of the time they're going to jail( ed up record for life). If they're rich white boys from Alamo Heights, they got a pretty good chance of going scot-free and the cops calling their parents. The cops are going to make em throw away their bud and beer and they'll be home in time for corn flakes and to brag about it on facebook and instagram.

The owner of the restaurant that denied the kid access spoke on the news about what happened

He said that he denied him access because he didn't recognize the area code on his I.D and couldn't afford to risk it because he knew that their were ABC agents out. He said that conversation was "brief and courteous" He turned around for a minute before hearing altercation. he turns around and the kid was on the ground bleeding from the head. The owner said that it was excessive force and uncalled for.

Kid is going to get payed. ABC already has a history of abusing its enforcement privileges.
