Like I've said before, the dude is a pretty relentless slasher that purposely exposes the ball. With that style of play he's always going to get a bunch of FTs. Some of the calls are probably BS but that happens for any player--the refs aren't perfect. Atleast he's not a jumpshooter that averages a bunch of FTs like Durant.
That style won't work in the playoffs though. He'll choke again tbh.
That's bull and it's ruining the NBA. I would hate to play the rockets and got ass free throws harden.
I'm sure Harden would prefer for the other teams to just let him get the layups.
Needs to happen more.
He'd probably trip like pulling the chair out from underneath. I've seen him drive the lane and go completely away from the basket to go make contact with a defender

Yeah as a Spurs fn i wouldn't look forward to a series against Houston purely for the fact of how many frustrating whistles Harden gets.. most of them are fouls by the letter of the law.. but that he does where he rips the ball around looking for the defenders arm is annoying as..

i also dont like the rules for perimeter players compared to frontline players who get call for fouls for attempting to block...no wonder why it has become a perimeter player league then a big mans league

He can be stopped by the refs no longer blowing their whistles when he invents contact. See: the playoffs.
Of all the current NBA "superstars", Harden is the most boring to watch. His game predicates on getting to the FT line....take that away and you get a guy who averages 15 pts a game and plays little defense.
