You don't take into consideration that Jermaine was playing with one good arm and Tinsley hadn't played in three months when he took the court against Detroit... and he was still injured too... so playoff stats don't mean to the Pacers... you all are ing blind if you think the Spurs are so much better than the Pacers... ing blind.

the fact that you complain about injuries just proves how much you're NOT used to the playoffs

pacers are not on the spurs level
    they wish they were
    but they are not

you are a , playoffs is all about endurance

which is why manu was held back the entire season....

duncan played half the playoffs with one bad ankle, and half of it with two bad ankles

dont whine about injuries man...its the 2nd lamest thing besides whining about refs

you've used stats to back your claim as to why your trio is almost as good as our trio

its dumb...for one thing you play in a weaker division, weaker conference

spurs played in the most bad ass division last season (this season's best division is open to debate)

its not about luck man....spurs have been injured into defeat many many times before...they coulda repeated in 2000, but duncan was gone...they were screwed that year DA was injured for the whole playoffs...

the thing that has stayed consistent is coaching philsosphy and team spirit

this yeilds yearly results of playoff appearances, yearly championship contenders

    obviously

but its not something that really matters cuz its something that affects all teams

sorry if your players were more fragile than ours this last season, do you want to re-do the playoffs or what

maybe if you had played your trio less minutes in the regular season they wouldn't have broken down (see: spurs)

So you don't think that the Spurs season of injuries was bad luck? It does happen randomly. And the same consistancy has been here in Indiana... we have been one of the top teams in the East since the early 90s.

ok i'll give you your consistency but it is not random that injuries happen

    its about managing your team

if rick carlisle had played your guys less minutes in the regular season (at the cost of maybe losing more games) then maybe they would not have broken down and could have stepped up more inthe playoffs

manu played hardly any minutes on the 2nd night of back to backs....we were all pissed, but the strategy paid off like no other when he was fresh for the entire playoffs

its not our fault your team was fragile after busting their ass for 82 games

I don't care about last season... hopefully we will have better luck on the injury front this year... that is all I care about... and no I don't want to redo the playoffs... we still would have been missing Artest

yeah Artest is the bomb...he's like Bowen on 'roids..

But Manu can shift from attack mode to help duncan mode...jermaine never has and never will be able to guard duncan...plus bowen knows alot of jackson (his moves, etc)...they practiced together for 2 years..
