This last loss for the Spurs really has to sting and should light a fire under all of their asses. No more "coasting" or playing down to your opponent. Now is when we see what this team is really made of and how serious they are about defending the le. Let's get to it.

I agree, it was actually a good loss. Lots of people were worried about having a long win streak going into the playoffs because of 2012, but now that's not relevant.

Tiago situation is C.I.A. Pop perhaps. Clippers deflate a bit tomorrow if they find out he's a go on the lineup after thinking maybe they would catch the break. Morso than if they thought he was healthy all along and mentally prepped and game planned for his presence.

They tell themselves they are prepared to compete either way to regain focus, but the lingering possibility of a "Splitter missing game 1" bonus is a distraction whether you prepped for either situation or not.
