What is your criteria? Malone was still doing well at this age
Malone certainly has the traditional stats compared to duncan because he played 38 mpg.

@AirlessJordan: Tim Duncan is now the ONLY player in NBA history to average 13.0 points and 9.0 rebounds for an entire season at age 38 or older. #Spurs
Just imagine what his numbers would look like if he didn't have a minutes restriction.

When did Manu get the ultimate compe or label? I hear so many people say that after Jordan, Manu is the most compe ive guy ever in the NBA..on what basis?

Manu is an all-time great and the third best Spur of all time, but TD has constantly adjusted his game to the benefit of his team..To compete..

He's stealing Kool's schtick on how Kirby has more money than Duncan... Kool "figured" that Duncan has lost most of his wealth.
I see. Well it's lame lol.

    Duncan:

    * 18 seasons
    * 18 seasons team makes playoffs
    * 18 seasons team winning 60% of all games in regular season
    * 18 seasons team winning record on road
    * 18 seasons team 1st or 2nd in division (including ties)

This is the greatest record of all and is unmatched in the history of sport.

I'd probably put Robinson over him. Maybe Gervin too.

That's the first time I've seen a good take from him. He's parroting low IQ mainstream takes with a hint of troll sprinkled in, or just flat out troll posting.

In any case, your thoughts on possible championship this year? Doesn't look too great this time imo. Only good this time is no more Heat to deal with in the Finals, but getting there seems daunting this year.

All numbers aside, the most impressive thing about Tim is how he has thrived in multiple eras of basketball, all utilizing a different style..

He was dominant in the pre-rule change, late 90s, he was even more dominant in the 2000s that was still grind-out ball, but that began favoring perimeter players, and he has continued his greatness in the pace and space era, following the weight loss and adjustment to a face-up, jump-shooting, positioning role..

There's no player in the history of the game that can say they adjusted their game at the same level as Duncan has, as many times as Duncan has..

It's funny that he doesn't receive the "compe or" label as much as other NBA Hall of Famers, simply because he doesn't run scream like Garnett, or fabricate a persona like Kobe, or because he isn't a sociopath s bag like Dad Killer..a guy that loses a bunch of weight, adjusts his style multiple times and accepts any role that he's asked to employ is probably more compe ive than anybody the league has ever seen, tbh..

Best stat that you left out... Tim Duncan has more 50+ wins than 26 NBA franchises.
