i think it makes sense if he tries to mask it more than normal, same if that cowl he's wearing is lined with lead
How is Superman vs Batman any dumber than Superman vs Lex Luthor? And yes, Superman has fought Luthor in a power suit in many forms of media.

I like the character of Batman way more than Superman, but I just don't see how they will make this fight look like it's even. Superman's powers will really need to go way, way down.
You s are acting like this is a new idea. You don't think they thought this through when they made the script? Like at some point during the creative process they went "Oh , wait..Superman is like way too powerful compared to Batman...WTF ARE WE GONNA DO?! Oh , oh , uhh, we'll just see if anyone forgot!"

To this day the Dark Knight still is the best superhero movie i've ever seen imo. On the other hand the Man of Steel was pretty meh.
Watching solely because of Batman.
Why would his outfit be lined with lead? Is he afraid Superman will use his x-ray vision to see him naked while they're fighting?
Don't know what it's made of but the Supermanbuster outfit is pretty true to the comic, though there Batman is way older and Superman is basically Ronald Reagan.
I never really read comic books when I was a kid (besides Calvin and Hobbes). Spider-man was always my favorite, but I think I like the DC movies more than Marvel now (darker, somewhat less silly, etc.). I actually think Affleck might be pretty good after watching The Town.

Agreed, and it's really not even close, imo. Also agree that Man of Steel was meh. Was actually pretty disappointed tbh. Batman movies have always been, and likely will always be, better than Superman flicks. Batman has a much better/more relatable storyline going for him.

It doesn't look as bad as I thought. At least visually it looks strong, but Zach Snyder has always been pretty good at that. I even dug Sucker Punch even though most people on it.
Affleck is okay, I guess they could've done a lot worse.
Dark Knight is number 2 for me but the original Superman (1978) is still my all time favorite comic book movie. Nolan said he borrowed from it the most since it surrounded the superhero with great actors and took the mythos seriously. Plus that John Williams score might be his best.
