Any NBA level team was going to create separation eventually...especially with the Spurs playing as bad as they are. A team that's actually good would have put this game away a long time ago. If this is their best punch then I'm pretty unimpressed.

Spurs horrible shooting performance is my only hope at the moment for game two tbh, that they will bounce back. I don't think Clippers played a great game for the most part until the second half.

Uh, I'm pretty sure Baynes won the scuffle with Barnes. Barnes tried to take the ball away, couldn't do it, kept trying like a got even though the play was already over, still couldn't take it, so he just fell into Baynes like a , knocking him over into the camera crew...and Baynes still ended up with the ball.

Each game has a life of it's own. Next game they start off zero to zero. No reason to extrapolate outcomes of minutes that haven't been played.

Yeah, what Barnes did was juvenile. Can't blame Baynes for holding onto a ball that he already had possession of. And he successfully retained it. He just stood there and held a basketball while Barnes tried to hero-wrestle it away...and failed.

You don't get caught up in stupid with people like Matt Barnes who've spent their entire NBA careers trying to make up for their lack of ability by being gots on the floor. Just let him have the goddamn ball and ignore he's even in the game. He got Baynes riled which is what he wanted.
