He def needs to work on a move for when he is chased off the three point line.
why do people want Green to shoot floaters or runners over DeAndre Jordan? That's just stupid offense that plays into the Clippers' defensive strategy..
He just needs to make 3s, he's getting a lot of looks, just missing, which is unusual for him in the playoffs..
Green killing his contract year
Parker PER: -1; Green PER: -5![]()
He made them vs. Miami because they didn't have a shot-blocker..most players in the NBA aren't going to successfully shoot runners/floaters over Jordan, let alone a role player like Green..that's now how you beat the Clippers..
Im being dead serious when I say he cant. After game 1, I hoped the coaches would help him figure out something to do when he gets ran off the line (IE pump faking more, one dribble into a mid range jumper, etc). He hasnt adjusted well, and is losing his confidence.
is DG playing his way out of SA?
no, he's making it easier for the Spurs to get him for cheaper..silver lining for them..
well he did shock me by dunking over Lewis in the finals
He probably shouldn't start anymore. He's a 3-pt specialist that doesn't offer anything else aside from good defense. The Spurs need something from their SG spot. 0 for 6 in the game (all 3's) is complete butt ery.
His shooting goes through stretches where he can't make a shot. Unfortunately, that is always the same game where his defense lacks focus. So he doesn't really help on either end. I've always wondered if he had a hangover from alcohol or drugs from too much partying the night before.
As far as layups goes, he's the only guy I've seen in the NBA that looks like he has absolutely no coordination between his dribbling and making a layup shot.
With Parker on the hook for a few more years, it probably makes sense for both Green and the Spurs to part ways, tbh..
Spurs need another creator to offset Parker's decline and inability to create shots, and Green needs to go to a team with creators, since the Spurs no longer generate shots as consistently as they did in prior years IMO..
