They will have around $78 million committed to 6 players not including Crawford and Barnes (team options) that would push it to $88 million for 8 players. They have the mid-level (tax payers) of $3.6 million. They blew the Bi-Annual exception on Farmer.
They need:
Backup 1
Starting 3
Backup 5
and probably a backup 2 (Crawford is the definition of hit or miss)
Davis and Rivers are both FAs and both may have played decently enough for a pay raise.
Even if Jordan walks, they would have to renounce everyone else and that would only give them $5.5 million after cap holds.
They really only have $3.5 million to work with to fix all of their issues.
