How lucky did they get this year avoiding us and a healthy OKC team. And, it's not like they will face the LeBron Heat team. Jesus.
Whatevs, we've been the beneficiary of similar luck in past le runs.

They would have destroyed this year's Spurs, too..
    Short bus take tbqh

We matchup well with them worriers in reg season. Playoffs would not have been much different.

We have the 2 best defender combo that can be thrown at the brothers. Their frontline is nothing to write home about.

For those guys saying. The spurs didn't have it. Did the rockets, clippers, grizzlies, bulls and Celtics have it?

    Thought so.

Even these ty spurs are easily 3rd best team in the league

I always say that about the 07 series when a Suns fan brings that up or someone else hating, the Spurs BLEW that game 4 and should have been up 3-1 in that series. THE SUNS were NEVER in control of that series, never had the lead yet they think because those guys got suspended it was an automatic win. I have to ask them then what happened game one in PHX? What happened the 3 games they played in which the Spurs won? It is laughable. I agree on all you wrote up there.
You're exactly right. There is a lot of revisionist history that says Phoenix would have won, "if only...." The Spurs had control of that series. Not a tight control, but they were already proving to be a better team.

The whole Suns "lost cause" thing is ridiculous. It's like people who say the South would have won if Lee hadn't screwed up at Gettysburg. The result has been mythologized, and turned into a scapegoat for the whole campaign. The rebels were never going to win that war.

The Suns loss has been mythologized as well, the suspensions the excuse. In all probability, Phoenix was never going to win that series. But people in Arizona can shout "the Suns will rise again!"

Spurs were the 6 seed and were eliminated in the 1st round by an overrated Clippers team..they just weren't that good, this year, the mileage, injuries and mental fatigue caught up with them..

It's a nightmare! Rigged to get the chokers to the next round and then choke 4 games in a row! It should be SA in the WCF! I can't stand GS with all of their y arrogance! I'm rooting for Houston even though they are another team I dislike but watching GS being so y just irritates the out of me! I really want Atlanta to win it all!

Their luck reminds me of the Lakers luck from '00-'02. '00- Duncan misses the playoffs, '01- Derek Anderson breaks his shoulders, the Sixers had a ton of injuries in the finals which were Lynch with a broken foot, Mckie with an Ankle Chip fracture, Erick Snow ankle fracture. In '02 Robinson misses the first two games of the Lakers series along with Charles Smith being out for the playoffs, and then against the Kings Peja misses the first 4 games of the series due to a major ankle injury. It just seems like for some teams the perfect storm comes at the right time. For the last 3 years the Warriors had the perfect storm of injuries for the opposition that benefited them. With that being said the Warriors should have 2 championships instead of 1.

The Spurs have the best coach, best front line, a great offensive/defensive system, championship pedigree, and you guys are healthy. No excuses son.

    - What active coach is better? Oh I get it, you trolling.

    - Spurs are 6th in field goal percentage (best front line, as I said)

    - 2nd in points allowed (DPOY is on the best front line)

    - 1st in shooting 3s (percentage wise)

    - 2nd in field goal percentage allowed

    - Probably 1 at defending 3s which is huge in small ball era

    No excuses.

Brad Stevens, Rick Carlisle, Billy Donovan ing embarrassed him last year and he's been shat on by a 100 inferior coaches before.

As for the offensive system it's just give the ball to kawhi and Aldridge and let them do their thing, theirs no tricks or magic it's just ing iso 90s ball. the spurs also have the worst back court in the playoffs
