These two yutes!
"Are you on drugs?"
Back to the topic at hand, my most memorable line from any movie is "As far back as I can remember, I've always wanted to be a gangster."
But, what does Tommy see when he enters the basement upon arrival for his making ceremony that leads him to say: "Ohhhhhhh no." before they shoot him. I don't understand this part.
He sees nothing when there should have been a bunch of guys to celebrate him being made.
Now go home and get your shinebox.
"...And there was nothing we could do. Batts was a made man and Tommy wasn't. We had to sit around and take it. It was among the Italians. It was real greaseball ."
You're a serial killer gangster going to a life changing celebratory event and when you walk in no one's there. Put the pieces together
^
ing This.
I still use this gem to this very day.
Overrated tbh
That's awfully thin, PD. Accepting your premise doesn't he suspect something when he drives in and there aren't a bunch of cars and commotion going on?
& concurrently Jimmy is nervous about the whole thing like he expects this to happen, calling constantly. If he thinks it's iffy he would have discussed that with Tommy and he never woulda went to it.
And again, Tuddy is no match for Tommy. The only other guy there is an old-old timer. Tuddy has no assurance a "serial killer gangster" will be so easily fooled A., and then go so quietly, B.
No. This part stinks. If Jimmy smelled something, Tommy would be informed.
Yes.
It's spotty.
I love in the Sopranos how they have Chris scared as when Paulie is driving him to be made, and Paulie tells him to relax and that he's watched too many movies.
Still, it's pretty reasonable that Jimmy would be nervous while still not really knowing anything concrete. The Lucchese family making Tommy would essentially have been a declaration of war against the Gambinos after Batts, and no one wanted that after the war Crazy Joe Gallo started like 10-15 years before the time period of that part of the movie. Surely Jimmy had to know that.
It's literally blemish free and yall are morons
Are you trolling me right now? First off, they drive him straight into a garage in what looks like the back of a big house. Plenty of scenarios where he wouldn't see the other cars even if they were there. Second, Jimmy isn't nervous, you stupid ing , he's excited. Henry literally explains that. And finally, Tuddy has a gun and he could've taken him out at any point but luckily for him he didn't have to till they get to that room. They aren't getting into a fist fight, dumbass
To a Muslim French Canadian? Doesn't surprise me.
I agree tbh
You ever see your mother naked, PD? Seriously, she have big bush, nice ass? Tell me about your mother, PD.
"That's when I knew I would never have come back from Florida alive."
She'z clean shaven
The Mob girlfriends were so tacky looking….Spandex poor complexions… Martin Scorsese’s finest film…
So I say, "Keep your fkn hands off me or I'll cut them off...
