There's a fat guy on the team that decided to take 21 shots and go hero mode in crunchtime when the Spurs had the lead. I'd say he is most responsible for the Game 7 loss tbh.
Also, those down years between 2010 and 2012 would have been much worse without hero ball. Imagine the hit on Duncan's legacy if we miss the playoffs. That's a big bragging right Tim has over Shaq and Kobe.

Lol, he was the only one making shots in crunchtime. He hit our last basket of the season.
10.9 ppg, 3.6 apg, 1.6 topg, 36% shooting+statistically the worst cancer of any player in the playoffs
I agree, Parker was phenomenal vs. the Mavs in game 7, that was probably his last game as a star player IMO..I don't know what happened after that, but he has progressively gotten worse, for whatever reason(he was good vs. Portland IIRC, but so was everybody else on the team, mostly a joke series)..
Clearly I agree every year the spurs should win but sometimes; injuries happen, bad calls are made, players go cold. Its a ing game get a god damn life.
He had some ridiculous performances against Portland, but I think we can attribute that 100% to Lillard. He then got hurt in game 5 and usage fell way down the rest of the postseason though still respectable in the OKC/MIA series.
Played pretty well through November of this season. Then just as the Spurs hit their brutal December stretch, the nagging injuries caught up to him and he missed a bunch of games. Losing 6 out of 7 around Christmas did the team in in the standings and they were playing several men down, and they had to play catch up the rest of the way.
Maybe he got rushed back because they were essentially playing with one healthy PG on the roster? Literally sat out one game in 2015 (Jan 3rd) as Patty was awful when he came back around the New Year up until the playoffs.
It's all said and done. Pretty much everyone ed up at one point or another. It was a team loss and we were a split second away from winning the series (an all time classic first round series) and it's now history. The main thing that bugged me is our legendary 39 year old timer seemed to be our most intensely passionate player. I didn't see the other guys show an awful lot of fight and passion in that game 7. Aside from the passion:
Old man Riverwalk averaged 18ppg, 11rpg, 3.3apg, 1.3spg. 1.4bpg and shot 59% going up against 2 young, big and strong, insanely athletic giants in Jordan and Griffon. 27 and 11 in game 7. He's 39 years old ffs!
It's a shame Kawhi went 1-7 in the 4th quarter of game 7. Missed crunch time FT in 2013 finals. He'll live and learn. A great young player. I'd just like to see everyone as passionately hardcore as Tim (or a young Manu) in a game 7. We lost and there's no way of telling if we woulda made the finals if we beat LA. It just sux that grandpa Duncan was the most passionate player. But I suppose that passion is why he is a top 10 all timer and put up a brilliant performance against 2 young beasts.
This was supposed to be Kawbis team imo. He laid an egg in game 7. Choked a game in the series as well due to free throws.
Became matt ing Barnes as the series progressed.
The series is on him imo
shut your ass up. porker was the worst ing player in the playoffs and got shat on by austin mvp rivers.
short bus
I already stated Porker was trash.
Still he didn't force Kawhi to play like Van Horn 2.0 and get sodomized by Matt ing Barnes
Not to mention choking away a game on fee throws
short bus
yeah portland was a pretty easy series all around, but TP's defense in that series was oddly strong. iirc he also did well early in the OKC series, but he was never the same when ibaka came back and he hasn't recovered since
but if everyone thought this way 90% of this forum would vanish tbh
Oh look, the raw stat argument, which is Enrique fans only argument to defend him.
kid made an account to defend Enrique![]()
Parkers regression is very strange tbh sure he's a little slower, and was significantly hampered by the Achilles injury(at that point he couldn't even get by a big man) but time and time again we saw get to the rim this season, but the weird part is he would miss the majority of the time. I don't understand how someone forgets to make layups. Maybe it's been mental too, like Manu when he was injured all the time. He didn't trust his body.
Not during most of the seed run, he was back.
But the playoffs are a different animal.
But Pop not being serious and giving away les for free should not happened!!!
