My box of army guys and Lincoln logs were very important to me as a youngster. Exercising one's imagination is boundless. Would I actually get it down now past 60? Well, I can't get on the floor with 'em thats for damn sure, but, the dining room table? Sure, as long as Girl can't hear me making gun sounds.
Figured you to be more of an "Erector Set" kinda guy...

...No, I enjoyed Girders & Panels though. That was a blast. And Electric Football was my favorite. I have it, dragged it out several years ago, but, the magic is gone.

The hockey games were just a thrill as well. I had a good one, all steel rods, sturdy build, stood on legs, not table top. My brother & I would hammer & tong with that for hours, then hammer and tong each other, well, he'd hammer and tong me. It's up in an attic in Omaha, Nebraska where Girl & I first lived.

And the old Cadaco All Star Baseball Game with the spinner. I loved that, dragged it out to a few years ago, but, the magic is gone there as well.

I still have the Old Time Baseball Computer Game on DOS. I've kept a computer just for that game. I've played several full seasons on that platform and won those World Series using the '63 & '66 Cleveland Indians. That's part of my heart, a religious experience playing it and seeing all those names.

It's like when you're trying to shoot one off by yourself and you just go soft right when the deed is done, Cub. Five times that has happened.

    Fantastic Cubs...just fantastic.

For me, I enjoyed playing with my Atari when I was a kid. Space Invaders, Asteroids, things like that. As far as actual "toys" go...G.I. Joe and Tranformers were pretty cool...but nothing could beat the WWF Wrestling Ring with the Wrestler action figures. Talk about hours and hours and hours of non-stop fun with my brother and my friends. They just don't make em like they used to....or maybe a kids attention span isn't what it used to be. I'm thinking the latter tbh....

Epic times playing with this Cubs:

Well that's at least one Cleveland team you didn't abandon.
