Like black-on-black crime, gun fellators' "can't stop gun massacres" is bull . "gun massacres" are miniscule %age of total gun deaths annually.
btw, the Charleston "lone wolf"had been trying to get an AR-15,and probably multiple big clips.
How would standing pat and not studying anything move the ball forward?

I'm not against the study whatsoever, I'm just curious how you think it would help anticipate the next mass shooting.
What is a big clip?
Profiling through data-clustering would be my guess, although I don't pretend to know much about criminal psychology or related sociologies. By data-clustering, I mean patterns in purchasing, travel, changes in marital or employment status, web-use, criminal history, intelligence, etc. I don't mean we need a "pre-crime" unit, but it might not be bad to have people who can peacefully intercede and get people psych help.
Sounds like you basically want the NSA to follow every gun owner.
Sounds like that's what you wish I were actually saying.
