Jesus, those owners are cheap and must really be getting crushed by the Oklahoma oil bust. A key cog in the Harden deal being traded so they can afford their RFA? They can match them anyway...

Ehh Lakers are so terrible that at best he we will make them average in at least two years. I think it will be a lateral move imo if the trade Randle, Clarkson and Okafor for Cousins. Cousins does have a very friendly contract from what I've heard so hopefully they will pay Rondo. Hopefully they will keep the Lakers around the fifth worst record range, so the Lakers could lose their lottery pick to Philly next year

Theyll blow there money on rondo and Afflalo and have a team consisting of rondo, Kobe, Afflalo, cousins and Robert sacre and no bench

Indicative of Houston's plans to get off money, word is both Terrence Jones and Rockets' No. 18 pick in first round are both very available

On POR/Sixers discussion, league sources say Blazers are interested in using No. 23 to acquire an established big man, not get more picks.

Oklahoma City, Houston and Boston appear to be the most aggressive teams trying to trade up right now. Atlanta also sniffing around I'm told

Interesting factor that negates Atlanta's hometown financial advantage on DeMarre Carroll in free agency: Hawks don't have his Bird Rights.

Vincent EllisVerified account ‏@Vincent_Ellis56 See the Tobias Harris stuff, but I have been told Carroll and Green, UFAs are higher priorities. Easier to sign. #Pistons

I wonder what the Billy King is trying to accomplish here. He is building a team that's not going anywhere AGAIN.

I'm surprised more contenders aren't drumming up interest for Danny. That bodes well for us so far..

    Which contenders have cap space?

There aren't even really any contenders in the league right now outside of the Warriors and Cavs..

The Mavs are probably the only good team that has enough cap space to sign him IIRC..

With Ellis leaving and half the roster being free agents, plus a Dirk that looks very much in decline, they don't look like a contender. Green is young enough that up and coming teams would pay him. And he's got a le. The biggest priority is getting paid.

I guess Morey was telling the truth, the don't seem to be angling for run at LA or Love. They are probably better off, they added two rotation players through the draft to a team that is already a very deep team. Then Again maybe their acquiring assets for an S&T
