In Europe it would be zone defense.
Green was required for the Spurs to matchup with GS. Him on Thompson and Kawhi on Curry, the Spurs can shut GS down as GS won't have any Low Post scoring once they trade Lee.

Reading the comments over there gives me the impression that GS fans are concerned. It's way too early, tbh. I'm just glad that the TD era isn't over yet.
Can't grab a rebound if you ain't on the court. Ask Rasho about 2006.
So the Spurs match up better against GSW and OKC and worse vs MEM (LAC lost Jordan so don't have to worry about their 2 big men lineup)? Is that a better trade seeing as there's less chance of playing MEM in the playoffs vs OKC and GSW?
I prefer Splitter (quicker feet) as he can guard the PFs like LMA and Griffin. Duncan's too slow to guard them now. Shaq ain't in the league anymore - no use in wasting $$$ on a center - a Baynes equivalent or vet big man should do okay against the league's big men. Only team to worry about is MEM (scoring big men).
Who gives a what I means to them.
Aldridge means the Spurs can exploit them in the post like Memphis did while still having quality wings who can hit threes and guard Curry and Thompson.
I think you guys are going to be surprised how much better a defender Lamarcus is when he's in a system where defense is encouraged, praised and rewarded.
Spurs will have options because at the 5 they could run TD/LMA or Boris and GS will have no defensive answer for any of them. When GS went small in the past, TD tended to kill them because they could not take enough advantage due to the Spurs team defense. That is how I seemed to remember it.
Parker/Manu-Green-Leonard-Diaw-Aldridge
playing at the one and 4 spot. Excellent floor spacing with all five players capable of hitting 3's. Two post up threats. If Aldridge can shoot over Diaw on the block he should be able to due the same against Draymond.
Diaw would be the the big mismatch in that lineup. He can abuse anyone of their wings on the block. They can't send doubles of the Spurs shooters.
We will curb stomp there a**. There wings are reduced when they play against green and Leonard
Splitter can't take advantage of a smaller lineup on the offensive end. You'd better believe Lamarcus can.
that's a pretty good story
