This. I thought at first this was bad news for the Spurs, but now that I think about it, it's probably good news that the Spurs' division gets a little less compe ive, while the Warriors' division gets a little more. If 1 or 2 games decides who gets the 1 seed between us and the Dubs, this could be huge.

Chris Paul is a in choker. When will people see that? I bet that I would stop posting last season if the clips and cp3 made it past the 2nd round . I was that confident that cp3 would choke. I will bet again that the clips won't make it past the 2nd round this upcoming season.

Who cares? those stats mean nothing. Its about match-ups, and the clippers were only pop's beneficiary of ty rotations. Spurs were in control missing 3 of their starters (i included Green here) and were a terrible call and lucky shot making their RD 1 victory.

Its a good day for the Spurs. They look classier than ever. This news will be the talk of the town and they can go back to being under-the-radar, for the most part, until the season begins.

It also prevents the Spurs from being looked upon as the Cavs - easy road to finals - and when they beat the Clips in the playoffs, it will raise their stock even more.

Clippers are still legit but it's funny how people keep mentioning Stephenson as reason to worry. Sure the guy has some skills but he's overrated and a head-case on top of it and he's going to a team full of head-cases.

Over the years I have come to respect Dirk more than most players. He deserves better than to end his career with the scrubs he will be surrounded with next year. Jordan has cursed Dirk to the same fate as Kobe. Kobe deserves it for being a horrendous teammate.
