I'm not saying he doesn't have more attributes but those two attributes are something this team needs. Of course if he that's all he had I wouldn't want him.
You're missing the part about defense.
Theres a reason why he won CAA Defensive Player of the Year two years in a row in college.
He'd be an upgrade from Belinelli and a player to invest in for the future after his contract is up after this season.
Having him defend the perimeter w/Kawhi and Green for the next 4 years wld be okay I guess.

That would be nice. Someone mentioned that the signing just after the trade was interesting. Someone else said they couldn't trade Tavares right after signing him, but I couldn't find any confirmation of that in the CBA. Maybe someone who knows that stuff will chime in.

Yeah Tavares would seem like a pipe dream I'm just real curious to see if the spurs took a player back and what draft pick they could secure

the don't have a Dleague team of their own. So they sent him to the pool, probably with the /wink /wink for the spurs to pick him up voluntarily and help Bud.
