I'm betting that you set that return up on a loop, popped a Viagra and worked on that old boner for about an hour.
Actually it brought about memories of Billy "White Shoes" Johnson, the old Oiler. I also thought of former Texas speedster little (145) Tony Jones a 20.2 cat, another speedy Oiler. Then there was Herkie Walls, remember him?

Wait until ya get a look at Colt rookie receiver Philip Dorsett.
He will burn secondaries across the league, only to drop the pass time and again. Luck will have DHB flashbacks

Man I'm not old as like you. I do know about Billy Johnson though. My dad talked about him.

I went to high school during the Moon era...Ernest Givens, Haywood Jeffires, Curtis Duncan, Webster Slaughter, Lorenzo White, etc. Had some good defensive players during that time too with Dishman, Lathon, Childress, Fuller and Al Smith.

    Coaching held them back tbh.

Ask your dad about the the human fire hydrant Charley Tolar all 5-5 of him, he ws the Oilers fist 1000 yard rusher.

Those Warren Moon teams were exciting, Givens a lot like Lockett.

    Jameis Winston:

1st series- One incomplete pass...bunch of handoffs to Doug Martin
2nd series- Awful. Sacked once. Two incomplete passes. 3 and out...
3rd series- Finally put a drive together. After getting sacked for -10 yards, he found V. Jackson for a 50 yard bomb. Ending up with a FG.

    4th series: Interception
5th series: Atrocious. High snap that was almost fumbled...resulting in a 10 yard loss. 3 and out.
    6th series: See 5th series
7th series: By FAR his best series of the game. 5/6 passing. Drove the Bucs down the field with a few 20 yard passes. Finished it off with a 10 yard TD run. It was against the Vikings 2nd team defense...

    Probably done for the night.

Okay then Avante....show me the post I made where I said that this wasn't his 1st NFL game.

After you find that post, show the post I made where I said that his first half of football will tell me everything I need to know about the guy.

Then after you find both of those posts, find the one I made where I said that Winston had to play like Tom Brady in his first NFL game to not be considered a bust.

Good luck with that Avante. I know it's the guys 1st game...and I'm willing to cut him all the slack in the world because of it. I'll give him the same luxury I give every other rookie in the NFL. You've got 2-3 YEARS to show me what you've got. I'm not willing to start hearing trade options because of one half of preseason football.

this might make you feel better tonight. Your guy McKinney is leading the Texans in tackles so far in his first game against the 49ers.

Is he getting 1st team reps or 2nd team reps?

Metcalf was a long jumper with good speed, he was nothing like...

    Johnny Jones Olympian Jets
    Jamaal Charles 10.18 Chiefs

Walls was also out of Texas.

Football speed is a different monster.
The ability to start, stop and change directions quickly rules. This ability is known as acceleration. Eric Metcalf was a better football player than all mentioned with the exception of Charles if he stays healthy. The End.

Who cares what a rookie does in his first preseason game was the point, does it really matter, nope! To the extent you took it anyway.

Your ignorance about this is amazing. That list of world class sprinters who played in the NFL is a mile long, and cool trying to tell me bout football speed ok, I ran track and was a running back.

Don't try and talk track/football, ok?
