Anyway, LMA has the ppg numbers and all star appearances while kawhi has the ring, fmvp, dpoy, 1st team all defense. Both talented AF. Both on the spursso who cares.

OP is a genius, I know him personally, LMA launched 34 shots in game one of playoffs last year. Not bad for an injured player.

Who cares. They both play different positions and one is an all-star and one is a FMVP and DPOY and probably will be an all star this season.
Leonard has the potential to be greater, but right now LMA is a guy who has been producing at a high level as the go to guy on his team.
Anybody who says Kawhi is better than LaMarcus is completely wrong. Kawhi is the future of the team and one day will be the Spurs' best player but as of right this moment, he may be the spurs 3rd best player or at best, 2nd. LaMarcus is hands down the best player on the team. I've mentioned this here before, he's by far our best scorer and is a top tier rebounder (tied at 8th in the league with Anthony Davis at 10.2/game).
Aldridge was 7th in the league in scoring at 23.4ppg.
The only players that averaged more points than he did were all MVP candidates: Westbrook, Harden, LeBron, Anthony Davis, Demarcus Cousins, and Stephen Curry. That is some elite company right there.
Also, as far as defensively, he is apparently very underrated and is actually a very good rim protector. Check out this article written about him just the season before last:

I'm a huge Kawhi fan, but Alderidge right now is still a much better player.

If Kawhi is the Kawhi post-All Star break, he's the best player easily. If LMA gets his defensive concepts straight, he'll be right up there. Tim is still the best player on the team, though. So Kawhi and LMA are really just fighting to see who's heir-apparent and who's heir-presumptive.
Aldridge was the MAN in his team for several years, Kawhi was not and has yet to show he can carry a scoring load on his own and then create for other consistently. He's had some good games and a good string of games to close the season, but he lacked consistency. Lamarcus has been better offensively for a longer period of time and has been consistent for a few years and the best option for his team. Kawhi is beast defensively and is younger, thus still improving and hopefully the best is yet to come for him. Lamarcus right now, Kawhi edges him hopefully in the near future.
Just tried 2K with the 2015/2016 rosters and LMA is killing it as a Spurs, TBH, but the lack of backup C will kill us.
2K is TERRIBLE at knowing what positions guys will actually play. It ran with Kawhi at backup center for my second My Player season.
LMAlpha is a bonafide franchise player.
Kawhi is a good 2nd banana.
