I honestly didn't recognize Laurie in House even though he was half of one of the most popular post-Python comedy teams in Britain -- Stephen Fry being the other. If you're into middlebrow Brit comedy, their adaptations of P. G. Wodehouse's Jeeves and Wooster books are hilarious. Completely different role for Hugh.

My misses and I watch the show regularly here in Oz, we are only about 8 or so episodes into season 1... very good show, although a little formulaic. You always know they are gonna stuff up 2 (sometimes 3) times, and then fix it on the next try!
^^ Exactly, thats the biggest problem I have with the show right now.
The plot seems a bit predictable. But hey, what else you gonna fill in in an hour if you figured everything out that quick eh?
Not a bad show, some pretty hard acting to watch in it at times especially from the aussie dude Jesse Spencer. It's watchable, but not absolutely fantastic out of this world good.
