"We're not talking about a real game here. We're talking about practice. PRACTICE."
Anyone remember that gem? I think he's probably the best guard in the league, but off the court I'm not fan at all.
Ahh...I knew he wasn't a Real All Star...![]()

Ah yes, you just reminded me of why I'm NOT a fan.![]()
lol he said in the commercial that he's not a thug its just his style
LOL. I think he was letting his emotions get the best of him during that press conference....but if you think about it, what he said makes sense.
I mean he's allen freakin Iverson...former mvp, single handedly took a moderately good defensive eastern conference team to the finals. He was probably just letting his emotions run away, as any human being does in tight spots. Imagine carrying a team, season after season, then doubting yourself, missing practice for stupid reasons, then getting called out by your coach. You'd expect a coach to do that, but the wrong word at the wrong time can cause a massive eruption of you don't really mean.
Regardless, it was a learning experience for him, and he's a better player now because of it. He had one of the best seasons ever last year.
I'm always keeping my fingers crossed that we can get an Iverson-on-the-decline to be our backup pointguard one day in the future. Iverson loves Duncan.
Plus allen iverson is a (relatively) religious man. I like that.
I loved when he shook Tyron Lue agains the Lakers in the finals and Lue fell down and he just walked over him like he was the king
AI was also the first guest on the critically acclaimed show "At the end of the Day, the Bottom Line is Quite Frankly the Big fella" featuring host Stephen A. Smith.
Stephen A. Smith is my hero
I don't think you know what braking his ankles is.![]()
ive broken many before i think i know what it is
Well, you stated he broke his ankles when he did the move... when infact he didn't.
I didn't see him fall..
well he shook him dirty Sense...shook him dirty is that better??
Yes, that's better.![]()
I have 3 posters in my room. One is Allen Iverson laying up the ball with the letters M-V-P sprawled across the background.
AI biiiaatch. The Answer. MVP. Remember when he scored like 50+ points 2 or 3 games in a row last season? Remember his 60 point game? AI is so freaking sick, he's shorter than half of the posters on this board and hangs with people like Shaq.
Anyone remember in the finals when Shaq went to dunk it and Iverson jumped on his back to hard foul him and he just flew up in the air on Shaq's Back? It was like Shaq didn't even know Iverson was hanging onto him. Afterwards they both had a good laugh.![]()
I'm an AI fan because I am also a Sixers fan, behind the Spurs of course. He's a great player but off the court, I'm not so sure.
lol he said in the commercial that he's not a thug its just his styleIt's so true.
AI
-I'm not a gangsta, I'm not a thug...
...my ass.
But in general, I do like AI.
Jordan has gotten broke hundreds of times so it's no biggie........And Jordans' style of play will beat any And1 show.
Batman stop lying to all these nice people unless your talking about the time you played St. Mary Margarets school for the blind junior varsity girls team.
ooooo low blow....
They had to open up a pretty big lead before they even let him in the game
Most overrated guard in the league.
