Lillard dropped 39. He's great. He needs more help, but we have time.

Of course you do ..and he is good player ...very good. But in this West it wont matter.
But they are no longer the Guest Team in the NBA or out West.
joke aside, i think they might end up being less awful than they were projected to be..young guys will play hard enough to notch few extra wins especially at home against teams on back to back which is a staple stop in many schedules..getting up 30 on Clippers in itself is promising..
The Blazers didn't get much worse than last season imho, replacing a few role players like Batum/Lopez/Matthews with Aminu/Davis/Henderson isn't as bad as most people think. The departure of LMA was a huge loss for this team but they've played without him before and could still maintain a decent record. I wouldn't be too surprised if this team ended up 9th or 10th come the end of season, but anything more than that would be beyond reality tbh.
By January late he is usually quiet every season, this year it will be much earlier tbh.
Portland always has something to look forward to: They are the perpetual "up and coming" team and have been since the early 80's.
Solid take.
That 9th or 10th just means they get for a 1st rounder next year.
Yep, don't know how many times we heard this only to see them flame out in round one (Round two at the most) etc. You almost feel bad for them with the injuries etc., until you get guys like Tlong posting this nonsense and then you just snicker when they lose and enjoy the yearly drop off after a hot start.
They'll be lucky to win 25
Sons them Blazers will be lucky to scratch 25 wins. This team is trash. Queue the skateboarder GIF.
A whole bunch of guys had the option of staying in Portland and playing with Lilliard... every single one of them left. Hmmm, I wonder what that means.
For Blazers fans this season should be all about tanking for a top 3 draft pick.
You're ed this season
Damn, is Lilliard the new Kobe?
They wanted $$$. It made no sense to pay them if Aldridge wasn't going to be here.
