Had my daughter in Spurs' gear from birth. Take her to games when they play in Dallas.
Have spent time telling her about Gervin. The Memorial Day Miracle. About the class of Tim Duncan and the organization.
The consistent dedication to excellence. All those rings.

    Her favorite team? The Grizzlies.

    Because it's a bear.

Why would you dislike you children being Warriors fans?
They play very good, exciting & successful brand of basketball
Why people on this board try to penalize them for being good is beyond me

this. Warriors play beautiful millennial basketball, and since my kids are going to be millennials by default, why not?

    Lebron though

Yeah, because kids never did that 20-25 years ago when Michael Jordan was the most popular player in the game.
Did you just compare Michael air Jordan to LeBron and curry? Wow, no fu...way.

Fantastic! Probably cause more havoc on that hardwood than the Spurs do on the court!

At least they're growing up in this era, rather than the 90s, tbh..

I would probably cry if my kids were growing up in the 90s and were fans of the best and most popular player at the time(Dad Killer)..trying hard to raise good kids and teach them right from wrong, yet they're watching basketball and cheering for a sociopath that hates Black people, is one of the worst teammates in sports history(including physically and verbally abusing them), is directly responsible for the murders of thousands of Black teens, allegedly played a part in the murder of his father, is a degenerate gambling addict, etc..those parents were lucky that social media wasn't around, I suppose..

Be thankful that even if your kids aren't Spurs fans, they can at least cheer for good people like Curry and Lebron, tbh..

Curry and Lebron are ok role models..better than jordan, bird, aids, kobe

If your kid is going to be an athlete, you can rest knowing that your kid wont marry a gold digging white .

Bro, when I have a kid, if I ever see him wearing Jordans or Kobes, I'm gonna Chris Benoit, tbh..

Id do the same thing tbh..I might be a.little bit lenient with kobes though since we all know hes just a misguided dude that lost his humanity by trying to follow a POS like jordan.

I've never seen anyone wear a Kawhi jersey here in NYC outside of when the Spurs are in town. Curry, Lebron, Kyrie, Durant, etc. jerseys & shirts are par for the course when kids show up at the gym. Give it a few weeks and some kids can finally throw away their Lin jerseys for Porzingas.

Maybe the Spurs are like wine and you don't fully appreciate them if not living & breathing them everyday until years later.

What fuels you're passionate hatred for MJ, Harlem? Just curious.
