Leonard thought he was playing 1 on 5 for most of tonight...

Love him, but he has to stop the excessive dribbling, crossover after crossover towards congested areas of the floor. Does absolutely nothing for him or his teammates besides burn clock.
Oh shut the up. As if ball movement or the beautiful game was working tonight. People that think the Spurs will be able to replicate '14 forever are re s, sometimes you need guys like Kawhi/LMA who will get buckets on isos when nothing else is working.

I'm going to quote this whenever you talk about Parker.

Kiwi got jealous that the team looked better with MVParker as the first option, while having 30+ assists as a team, so he game planned to go hero mode this game.

KawhISO-centered offense = First round exit, loss to the 1-11 Pels

Enrique puts his hero cape on when other things are working just fine. Like the Wizards game. Or the 76ers game before Pop benched his ass. Or how about the closeout game against the Heatles? Beautiful game is dominating all game and he decides to try to steal the FMVP in the 4th with his chucking.

0 points in the 1st half
3 garbage lay-up attempts+a tech in the 4th when he tried to put his hero cape on
completely outplayed by some guy named Ish

He wasn't anything special IMO, also considering he was playing vs. the worst defensive team in the NBA, so far(and they were bad defensively, last year, too, before anybody refers to their difficult schedule)..
nice..hold that accountable TBH. i love lma but no free passes for a max player IMO

Tony put us on his back when Manu couldn't hold onto the ball. I love Manu, but he was the reason we lost that series. That and Leonard's free throw. Parker dominated the first three games, injured his hamstring, and still made two of the clutches shots in Spurs history that will never be remembered (like Duncan's shot against LA in 04). He was the best player on the team in 13 (I'll give you Duncan if you want). He carried us the entire playoffs that year. You tend to forget that.

9-35 in the final two games of the series and that's your definition of Tony putting the team on his back?

He put us up two with a minute left.

I was talking about '14 Game 5 against the Heatles, dumbnuts. Beautiful game is killing it all night and he decides to put his hero cape on in the 4th in a weak attempt to steal the FMVP from Kawhi.

As far as '13 goes, one shot in the final two minutes doesn't change the fact that he played like for the large majority of the last two games.

Why do you say the Spurs can't replicate the ball movement of '14?
Because that was perfect, inspired basketball. It's not sustainable. Even if the ball movement is replicated, role players hitting their shots at the rate they were hitting them during that '14 run isn't sustainable. The performance of role players fluctuates that's why every team needs stars that can bring it consistently.

Having this year's Parker instead of last year's also helps.
