Even last game against the Lakers was a close affair until Patty Mills blew it wide open getting hot in the 4th.
If Danny continues his bad play we are in trouble in general.
I do not trust Simmons against Atlanta defensively.
Against the Grizz also a close affair until Kawhi got hot and hit several consecutive 3s in a row.

I am sure Bud will have the his guys playing tough, focused and lots of energy for this game. I also expect the Spurs to wear them down in the 3rd quarter after they used all that energy. How weird would it be for the Spurs to be a reliable 3rd quarter team? It seems in the last few years the 3rd quarter goes either way.

I remember a short stretch of maybe 2-3 games where Bobo got in the doghouse and Anderson played a lot of small ball 4 bc Bobo was lazy, slacking and coasting.
Now Danny is on the hot seat.
It pays off to have a hungry deep bench that can come in and change things around.
I thought to start the season Pop sticking to 8 men rotations was going to doom us in the end. I am glad he's giving other guys a look-see.

only good thing from the overhype is Dubs will feel pressure to keep it up, hopefully wearing them down. Their bandwagon will grow (probably lakerfans) but I imagine other fans will get sick of it. They are a really obnoxious team.

Pop went with Simmons over Danny in the second half last night. In case you missed it, Danny has been sucking a bag of s this year.
I saw that, but I don't see why that means he's willing to start simmons all of a sudden. I didn't miss it.
Really wanted to go to this one. Family member changed his mind at the last minute.
