This chart tells you that it will be harder to cover the Spurs because they are a threat from everywhere on the floor. Harder to shut down.

[QUOTE=Nathan89;8326073]GS has by far the best shot chart. Not sure why you would respond with this based on the subject matter of the thread.

Nah. If you have length and good defenders on the perimeter a la Danny and kawhi you can contest the 3 point line well. Kawhi has proven to give curry trouble as do most defenders that stay in his space and have long arms. Our rim protection with Timmy is the best in the league and LA has proven more than capable as a post defender. You shut down layups and 3s with golden state and you can beat them, something we do very well.

Spurs are happy shooting 3s, we are happy shooting midrangers, and we are happy with post ups. The way this team is built and the way the offense is starting to form I don't think there's a team that matches up well with us right now

Interesting how the talk in the preseason was how much LMA would draw defenders to him trying to cheat while leaving shooters more open for the three. But people never factored in how much LMA would affect the pacing and spacing for the whole team...to still wildly positive results but certainly different from what we're accustomed to.
People talked about that a lot, actually. Giving the ball to midrange post-up guys was going to lead to this result. That's even more understandable given that Parker has slowed down enough to not live at the rim but is still good enough to be a solid third option. I'll give you that most of the people talking about it didn't think that the offense would allow itself to move this far in this direction, but the idea was there.
