I was just corrected by the princess of punk. Apparently I am way behind the curve. She laughed at me when I said I wrote that SImple Plan was one of her favorites. She called them posers. I reminded her that she was begging to see them in concert a couple of years ago. Such short memories. Kids !!!!

A Simple Plan are posers. But thats not why they suck. They suck because their music sucks. Also their guitarists know how to do two things:
1) Power Chords
2) Natural Harmonics
Anyone with all 10 fingers can learn how to do these things within five minutes of picking up a guitar. Yet these guys make millions doing it. To their credit, they didn't start it. Linkin Park was heavily responsible for making power chords/natural harmonics music popular again (that was back when i was in high school...damn i'm gettin old!)
God forbid any of those 'musicians' learn how to play a friggin' solo.

Dimebag was pretty bad ass.
Dimebag was ing awesome at pinch harmonics, one of the hardest things to do in a fast solo, yet he did it, and he did it for every show, and he hardly made mistakes during live concerts.
Why the does someone like him get shot in the back of the head, yet Simple Plan is making millions by playing I could play when i was a sophmore in high school?
