he should not shoot that J anymore ... its funny how better his shot looks when he gets the ball while he is moving and shoots it immediately (like that game winner vs. ATL last season)
I loved watching him set up the young guys. He's so damn unselfish

that was great
Yeah, that jumper from the top of the key, left or right, has been broken for a LONG time. He gets no arc on it. It's got little chance of going in from the minute he even decides to take it. I've been cringing for a decade. But, it's Tim Duncan. Even Superman had Kryptonite.
And, that video shows him making 3/5 in practice. So what. I've seen him miss a line drive that bent the front or back of the rim a million times during a game. Boban was shooting some 3's in practice, too. I would hesitate to call that "his shot".
Tim takes that shot to keep the defense honest, and teams give it to him for a reason. They watch tape.
When even the bench is shooting 123% from the field, you let him take that 30% shot, or whatever it is.
Shaq always refused to practice his FTs and made excuses instead. Does Tim do the same thing with jumpers? We have Chip ing Engelland on the staff. Tim with his legendary work ethic should be able to get a workable set shot (or a "jumper" where he barely hops off the ground). At least get some arc on it.
He made one last night
Timmy seeing LMA and DWest make them in their sleep, has him jealous. Timmy hitting the mid range is icing on the cake. It sucked when we needed those points and you couldn't count on them but now they are more of a luxury.
