Yet they can't rest for fear of losing HCA to us. Draymond's 2 game vacation cut short and he is starting against the lowly Lakers, at home! Plus the days of the starters resting in the 4th because of a blow out seem to be behind them.

The Pistons pretty much laid out the foundation on how to beat GSW. Slow the tempo down, let Curry/Klay get theirs, but limit everybody else, attack Curry and Raymond. Awesome game plan from SVG, tbh.

You forgot to mention that team should pick on Barnes on defense since he can't guard competent wing players.

That too. Meanwhile, Drummond absolutely destroyed Green in their matchup. I honestly think the Warriors are running Raymond to the ground. He's basically giving up 20 to 30 lbs. a night against most centers in the league while anchoring GSW's defense. Parker would have a field day because GSW has zero rim protection.

That's probably why Kerr only played the super small lineup for like 6 or 7 minutes a game. Walton's going overboard with it.

Walton doesn't play him at Center very often either.

Many of the Pistons were utilizing verticality like Mozgov in the finals. Dray has no in-between game so it's particularly effective against him.

Didn't watch but heard Drummond really gave them problems, as he does most teams. Going to watch the replay of this game closely.

Yea i dont understand teams overhelping on green when curry gives him the escape pass. Let green finish over you instead of giving up the lob or an open 3

Playing microball might be effective against most teams, but against teams with legit post threat such as the Spurs and Pistons, the Dubs are going to get killed. They will have to eventually use Bogut at the 5 for long stretches. If the Spurs force the Dubs to use Bogut at the 5 for long stretches in a series, there's no way they're winning it. The only way GSW could beat the Spurs in a series is for them to have a ton of success with Raymond at the 5 and if Curry shoots lights out.

I wish I had been able to see this game, to see what the happened. Looks like Curry shot well, Klay shot OK, and everyone else pretty much shot like . Two guys scored basically twice as much as the rest of their team together.

I heard Curry hurt himself on a dunk? I'm not wishing anyone any harm, but maybe he should worry less about making the highlight reels.

This. The Dubs win by being the exemplary small ball team. Most teams can't counter, but superior post threats require them to alter their lineup or lose out on the paint. Draymond, against us, won't be able to cover both Duncan and LMA.

They'll have to worry about Diaw too who has historically torched Draymond at the post.

They played Steph and Raymond 36 minutes, and Klay 32 in a loss. Their next game is Monday vs. CLE.

Bogut/Ezeli were actually checking Drummond & Bogut pissed off Drummond in the 1st half b/c he couldn't score on him. Ilyasova was the one matched up w/ Draymond & most of Drummond's rebounds were off his own misses.

Morris/KCP were the ones that cooked the Warriors (Barnes/Klay).

I really hope they try to guard Duncan and LMA with two 6'7" players.
