    Running a team and an ultimatum between he and the coach are 2 different things. If you're arguing slippery slope, then there's some merit. But what was more important, retaining LBJ or Spoelstra? The former offers perennial championship contention.

    Nah. That's just your hero worship talking. However, Riley was forced out as coach by of all people, player Byron Scott; so, I'm sure this was not something he was inclined to indulge.
