Lets get back to real nba basketball for a second.

The Magic aren't allowed to shine in the league. Remember that. They are last in freethrow attempts per game for a reason with most of their highlights for the past three years being a composition of being borderline flagrant fouled. I know none of you watch the games but I do. Watched 45+ and probably 1250 all together (JESUS). Most of all, the Magic took away the Kobe/LeBron finals; something the NBA would have an orgy over. LeBron won't let the Magic live that down. The Magic haven't beaten LeBron in years. LOL


Now back to the all-star game

Granted the Magic have been robbed three times in the Dunk contest.

and..tonight. Aaron Gordon and Zach Lavine (Overhyped by fake groupie players on the sidelines, fake commentators, and allowed to have 10's on similar dunks that weren't at the freethrow line).

Its alright though. At least Golden State is winning the championship and Gordon has a higher ceiling. I don't even think I've ever talked about him here and what he was capable of. I guess nobody really watched those mcdonalds all-american dunk contest highlights.

Im completely nonplussed and underwhelmed. I had the most deadpan face of my entire life reading this post anticipating the punchline. But youre serious... you really give a about this. Not a championship... but a ing dunk contest. You know there arent any banners or rings for this right. But i guess if my team had never won a 'chip id be high string over meaningless things too, perhaps.

The Dunk contest has influence on the community of Orlando and brings a shine to the player that wins it. The sports outlets don't give two s about small markets so they have to put their players on this type of stage for them to shine. If Gordon wasn't in it, nobody wouldn't have ever known what he was capable of. Granted I doubt you watch the Magic and knew Gordon was capable of what everyone saw last night. Casual fans wouldn't know 5 orlando players names. You can bet Gordon got a ton of followers tonight because already got the support of the world and all the nba forums I checked after losing this compe ion. The Dunk contest is nostalgic and what Gordon did tonight will never be forgotten.



The Magic's goal this year is to not win a championship. Its to make noise and reach the playoffs. A championship is not in the picture at ing all. They're failing drastically at that and basically because of what I said about "real basketball". The NBA doesn't dare support the Magic in any shape and form. Only writers like Lowe and Simmons would write about us because they like our players and analyze whats going on to the stats and witnessing.

I didn't care if Aaron Gordon won until I actually saw that he deserved it and still didn't get it. If you watch the Magic, that's what happens all the time. They don't get things they earned.
