Sox down 7-5 in the bottom of the 9th. They blew a 5-1 lead, all because of head Schilling.

    Need a miracle.

    Sox lose.

Please put Schilling on waivers...he is the reason why the Sox have not clinched the division this year...he is the worst pitcher on the staff this year, by far. Freakin hasbeen.

I loved him last year, I hate seeing him pitch this year. Personally, I like the guy, but he is hurting my team this year, so I'd just as soon see him sitting on the bench.
I am a Red Sox fan first and foremost, have been since I was 9 yrs old, it is the uniform that I worship, not the player....unless it is Ortiz.....he has built up a few years of good will.

    Schilling is killing the team.

And as a pissed off Renteria fan, it hasn't broken my heart to have seen him commit 29 errors this year.

    Red Sox are in trouble.

I cant help but root for the Indians, and hope the Yankees make it, those two are the easier teams than Boston.

I hope tomorrow, Red Soxs win, Yankees lose, Indians win so it comes down to the Red Soxs-Yankees series.

    Sox pitching is HORRIBLE.

They have no shot at anything this year.

Good thing I have my Astros.

I am for Astros and Cleveland....I have money on both to win the Series, so I would win either way.

What would people think if the Red Sox didn't make the playoffs?

Not really.... Yankees didn't win it all for the first time in a long time last year.

I think in some twisted way, BoSox fans like myself will be back where we feel the most comfortable....losing out to the Evil Empire as the lovable down on their luck Red Sox. The WS was geat, but we are not accustomed to that rarified air, so losing to the Yankees will feel like we are home again.

You do not walk the bases loaded with Manny on deck.

Manny already had 2 hits in 3 at bats with 2 RBIs, it would be stupid to walk Ortiz. Manny has protected Ortiz all year...they are the best tandem since Gehrig and Ruth.

But Ortiz has done it before..... Manny still hasn't faced that many oportunities.

Manny does not get the chance, Big Papi beats him to the punch.

Seriously, Manny is an RBI machine, he would have probably hit his 25th career Grand Slam if they had walked David.
