They were both beaten by the same team. There goes that logic.and the Wolves made the WCF while the Spurs got smoked in round 2.
Terrel Brandon - no defense
Stephon Marbury - a rookie, no defense
Latrell & Sam - made the WCF and only lost because of injuries, Spurs got whipped in round 2:
Wally - Horrendous defense.
The only times the Wolves and Spurs have had similar supporting casts was in 2003-2004, and the Wolves made the WCF while the Spurs got smoked in round 2.
KG > Duncan - Get over it.

, What world do live on? There's nothing to get over
We all know the score. What happened to Indy in 2003-2004?
A lost is a lost, no matter what round a team exits in. The ultimate goal is the Championship, even if a team looses in the finals, consider them whipped! Since the Spurs made it to the finals and WON everytime they we're there, there's no "getting smoked". Try keeping Artest out of the stands, off the mike, and on the floor this year. "I need time off to promote my BS group!"
and your team might have a chance to get by the 2nd round next year! If you get by Detroit, Miami, or even Cleveland for that matter. You'll still have to deal with the SPURS!
Not really, KG and co took it to 6, same as the spurs, BUT without the second best player not to mention a healthy pg that wasn't NBDL material.
How many of those rings would there have been if the second best spur was out?
Kori, your better than that to throw stat- s that don't play defense into the equation. Think before you rehash that crap. VERY surprised that you don't know KG's weight more accurately either. He was 220 shortly after coming into the league. The gain is minimal, 10 lbs or so. I suppose you think he's 6'11 too?

Whatever happaned to all the tools here that refused to believe his knees were bothering him this year?
Welcome to 8 months ago.
I know he was 220 when he came into the league. I was asking how much he weighed last season and noted that if it was 240 or so, then I don't see the point of noting that he's up to ~250. It would be virtually a non-factor.VERY surprised that you don't know KG's weight more accurately either. He was 220 shortly after coming into the league. The gain is minimal, 10 lbs or so. They were both still beaten by the same team.
It just seems there's always some kind of an excuse with KG, isn't there?
You were supposed to login as Spursdaone when you post this. Wrong account dude.
At crying in front of the cameras? yes, he is better
You can have all the muscle in the world, but if you can't get your teammates involved, you're just shaq, with no leadership.
yes, cuz he'll be a more dominant post present with more bulk...
he might, MIGHT not be as mobile on the wings, but Championships are Won out of the low post in today's NBA...
he should be able to defend TD better as well...hopefully not, but we shall see...
Zak could still kick his ass!![]()
no doubt mikey...no doubt....![]()
hey, even the people of Sri Lanka are spurs fans!!!
Excellent, the more the merrier.![]()
Artest Factor, by any way you slice it, duncan>kg. 3 finals mvps, 2 league mvps, and most importantly 3 NBA Championship rings. it's no knock on kg, but he just hasn't got it done. maybe he will in the future, but he hasn't yet.
The Wolves' Kevin Garnett has been training his tender knees by running in sand in Malibu, Calif. The 7-footer, who has added muscle this summer and is up to a career-high 253 pounds, is expected to play more power forward than small forward this season. When Garnett was drafted by the Wolves in 1995, he weighed 210 pounds.
